The dilapidated and abandoned existing structure of Colorado Literacy Institute was set uneasily against the light rail tracks and interstate highway. Adaptive reuse saw the building take shape of a modern work-share space housing a general contractor; attorneys; accountants and others. Bright colors, industrial athletics, strong connection to the outside informed the design strategy
